A local chain, Cold Stone Creamery, exploits this phenomenon. It fills every sundae cup with ice cream until its overflowing. But then there is no room for toppings. The hot fudge has no where to pool, and so I have a sundae with just vanilla ice cream. It happened twice, and I stopped going there.
